General Updates
Mainframe Open Education Annual Review
Annual review to be rescheduled.
TAC Strategy Session
John Mertic reported that volunteers are still needed to lead the “Directory of Experts” group and the “AI Chatbot for Project Documentation” initiative.
IBM TechXchange 2025
Mertic said the call for proposals is open until the end of the month and notifications for accepted papers will be in July. Mertic added that the event will take place in Orlando from October 6th to 9th, with Community Day on Monday, October 6th.
TAC Vice Chair Elections
Mertic reported the election for the 2026 TAC Vice Chair will be held in December - Mike Friesenegger will transition to the main chairperson role and Phil Tully will step down.

Mike MacIsaac provided an update of the Feilong mentorship project, z/VM and Linux Modern Administration.
Elizabeth Joseph reported that the Mainframe Software Hub for Linux held its first TSC meeting.
